Pentatonix at Fox Theater in Oakland, CA 2/22/14 This concert was incredible! One of the best days ever!! (at Fox Theater)

Not just a weekly obsession now. It’s turned into a multi-week phenomenon.

My photos from the Young Storyteller Foundation Biggest Show. I got some good ones but I was pretty far away and couldn’t use flash.

"Inseparable" by Nick White with Benedict Cumberbatch. It is only 11 minutes long but made me cry…

"It’s going to be alright"

Sometimes it’s hard to say no. Ultimately, if you stick to your guns, you have the career that you want. Don’t get me wrong. I love a good payday and I’ll do films for fun. But ultimately my main goal is to do good work. If it doesn’t pay well, so be it. — Philip Seymour Hoffman

Such a phenomenal actor. I just watched Capote a couple of days ago for the first time and his performance was incredible. I was looking forward to seeing more work from him, especially his new Showtime TV show and as Plutarch in Mockingjay Pt 1 & 2. They are still filming Mockingjay Pt 2 right now and I have no idea how they are going to continue filming his character without him. So stunned right now.

“Success isn’t what makes you happy. It really isn’t. Success is doing what makes you happy and doing good work and hopefully having a fruitful life. If I’ve felt like I’ve done good work, that makes me happy. The success part of it is all gravy.”
- Philip Seymour Hoffman (1967-2014)
For this Christmas, my aunt brought over a dog named Peyton, that she was dogsitting. We bonded so much that he didn’t want to leave. I spoiled him with love and walks every day. He jumped on me and napped by my chair while I was reading. I now want a dog in the next 3 years.
